Source of inspiration!

I think everyone in a creative profession has a source of inspiration. An artist or a particular artform.

For us, this is the Dutch photographer, Erwin Olaf. We love his cinematic lighting, his rebellious energy, and his extravagance. He gave a voice to those who are too often silenced or invisible: queer communities, the elderly, woman, and everyone who lived outside the box. Every image tells a story. This is what makes photography so interesting for us.

When we visited Amsterdam last December, we had the opportunity to visit his exhibition. Erwin Olaf sadly passed away two years ago, but his dream came true. Exhibition Freedom at the Stedelijk Museum. A beautifully constructed tribute to a versatile artist. He will always remain a source of inspiration.
