Building a good relationship with your customer is very important in our industry. Such a relationship is based on good, open communication and trust.
Over the years, Kola Productions and Moramast have developed a special relationship.
This case is about an idea we pitched for a trade fair and future marketing.
The goal was to show the purpose of a light pole in a stunning way. Our idea was to work with themes like safety and respect. You always feel safer with good street lightening, and it even increases the quality of life by artificially extending the hours for activities. After pitching the idea, holding several meetings, and creating a budget/quotation, we got the green light to start preparing and planning the whole production. Locations, traveling, models, schedules, gear, hotels and more. We decided to photograph the models and props separately and the locations through “light painting”, which meant we also had to work at night.

We photographed the models in home situations, like shaving, having dinner, doing yoga and reading bedtime stories to the kids, to visualise a safe atmosphere in the pictures. And we photographed several locations where Moramast poles are located. It was amazing to see our vision become reality. Many days and nights of photography were followed by extensive hours of Photoshop work.

We truly enjoy productions like this. Brainstorming, maintaining close contact with our customer, having fun during work, embracing the challenge and celebrating the results.
Here you can see some pictures we took behind the scenes as well as the result. Moramast used the pictures at the fair and it was great to hear about the positive feedback they received. They also used our pictures in a book, which was nominated for the Swedish Design Award. We couldn’t be prouder!
