The magic of Being partners in Life and Business.

In 1995, when we fell in love, we had no idea that our path would eventually lead us to create a business together. Marco was a freelance filmmaker and I, Corina, worked in finance, already with a strong passion for photography, inspired by my dad.

Just a few months after we met, we embarked on a daring adventure to Borneo, spending time exploring the rainforest. Our motto was: If we could survive this as a new couple -Corina being arachnophobic, no less- we could survive anything.

Our first challenge as a new couple, into the rainforest of Borneo. Still going strong in life and business after 3 decades.

We faced big spiders and other creepy insects, snakes and bloodsuckers. We slept under the stars, crossed rivers in the dark (while always alert for crocodiles), we explored without boundaries and met incredible people along the way. We enjoyed every bit of the trip and realized that we were strong together.

A couple of years, a few adventures around the world and endless conversations later, our shared business, Kola Productions, became a reality. And the rest is history. Today, we’re proud to say we’ve been partners in life and business for 3 decades. 

Working together isn’t as hard as you’d think. We tend to agree more often than we disagree. We’ve got the right vibe, the right mix of personalities and our skills complement each other perfectly. Of course, we argue, no misunderstandings there. We have different ideas about how to do things and different creative visions. But defining our goals, discussing, and passionately debating is part of what keeps us engaged and moving forward. It means we care deeply about our shared journey.

And while it’s not always easy, we wouldn’t have it any other way. The challenges, the disagreements – they’ve only made us stronger, more committed and more in love with this incredible partnership that’s become our life.
